Family portrait by Matt Curtis Photography

Portraits

Portraits for the people, animals and stories that matter.

I create studio portraits in Warminster for families, newborns, maternity, pets, equine portraits and more individual fine art work. Start with the portrait closest to what you have in mind, then we can plan the finished photographs around the people, animals and home they are being created for.

Why book a portrait?

A proper portrait gives this stage of life somewhere to live.

Most people book portraits because there is something they do not want to miss: children at this age, a new baby, a pregnancy, a much-loved animal, a milestone, or simply the feeling that it is time everyone was photographed together.

The studio gives us control of light, pace and finish. I guide the photography, then you see the portraits properly at your private reveal and choose the pieces you would love to take home.

Portrait types

Choose the portrait you are thinking about.

Family and newborn portraits have the strongest individual planning pages. Maternity, pet, equine and Heritage & Fine Art portraits can be explored through the galleries, then shaped through a conversation.

Portrait pricing, explained

Your portrait session. Your choice of finished artwork.

I’ll guide you through creating your portraits, then help you choose how you would like to enjoy them. There are two parts to the price: your portrait commission and the photographs or artwork you choose afterwards.

1. Your Portrait Commission

£95Family, maternity, pet and equine portraits

£195Fine Art portraits

Your commission includes planning your portraits, your guided photography session and a private portrait reveal, where you’ll see your photographs and choose your favourites.

The Portrait Commission is your £95 session fee, not an additional charge.

Finished photographs and artwork are purchased separately from your session fee.

2. Your finished portraits

At your private reveal, you’ll choose the photographs you love and how you would like them presented. That might be a favourite portrait to give as a gift, a collection to keep together or artwork for your wall.

Individual matted portraits start at £50.

A matted portrait is a beautifully presented individual print, ideal for keeping or giving as a gift. It is not supplied as framed wall art.

There is no compulsory collection and no minimum artwork order. I’ll explain the options and prices so you can choose what feels right for you.

Artwork Credit

£100 towards qualifying wall art

Your portrait session includes a £100 Artwork Credit, which you can use towards eligible wall art priced at £350 or more.

The credit applies once per booking. It does not reduce your session fee or apply to individual matted portraits.

How the credit works

If you choose £350 of eligible wall art, your £100 credit reduces the artwork payment to £250. With a £95 portrait session fee, the total would be £345.

This is an illustration of the credit, not a purchasable £350 package.
