What kind of portrait photography do you offer?
I photograph family portraits, newborns, maternity, pets, equine portraits, Heritage & Fine Art portraits and individual portraits. Most portrait work is created in the studio, although location portraits are possible where they are right for the subject.
Do you photograph families with children?
Yes. Family portraits are one of the main parts of my work. The session is guided so children and adults do not need to perform or know what to do before they arrive.
When is the best time for maternity portraits?
Most maternity portraits are created when the bump has a clear shape and you still feel comfortable. I can guide timing when you enquire.
When should I book newborn photography?
It is best to enquire before your baby arrives if you can. Newborn sessions are paced around feeding, settling and changing, so there is room for the natural pauses a baby needs.
Do you offer finished framed portraits?
Yes. Finished wall portraits, framed pieces, matted prints, treasure boxes and albums are available to choose after seeing your photographs.
How does portrait pricing work?
The Portrait Commission for family, maternity, pet and equine photography is the £95 session fee. Newborn sessions are £95, Fine Art portrait sessions are £195, and Beginning Story includes maternity and newborn sessions for one combined £150 fee. Finished portraits are chosen separately after your portrait reveal, with individual matted portraits from £50 and larger wall art, framed pieces, treasure boxes and albums available.
Do I need to decide what I want before booking?
No. You can book the portrait experience first. The portrait reveal is where you see the images properly and choose what belongs in your home.
What does Beginning Story include?
Beginning Story includes a maternity session and a newborn session for one combined £150 session fee. Photographs from either or both sessions can be chosen within a newborn collection without changing its image quantity. Collections and artwork are purchased separately. One £100 Artwork Credit applies towards a qualifying newborn collection or artwork purchase of £325 or more, and credits cannot be combined.
Do you provide digital images?
A shareable digital version is included with each corresponding purchased photograph. The main focus of portrait work is finished photography that you can see, frame, gift or keep properly.
Can portraits be created on location?
The studio is the focus, although location portraits are possible when they are right for the people, animals or story involved.
Do you photograph weddings?
Yes. Wedding photography is available in Wiltshire and the surrounding area, with wedding collections currently beginning at £1,495.
How do I check wedding availability?
Use the enquiry form and include your wedding date and venue. If the date or venue is not yet booked, say that in the form and I can still come back to you with the best next step.
How much does commercial photography cost?
Individual Professional Headshots are £195, including five fully finished images. Additional finished images are £35 each. Wider business photography is quoted individually according to the brief, the photography and editing involved, and the agreed image use. Tell me what you need photographed, where the images will be used and any deadline, and I’ll prepare a tailored quotation.
