Family portrait by Matt Curtis Photography

Family portrait photographer in Warminster

Family portraits, done properly.

This is the year you put your family on the wall.

The children as they are now. The people who belong together. A portrait you will love seeing every day. I am Matt Curtis, and I create family portraits at my Warminster studio, with framed artwork, prints and albums chosen for your home.

Your family, photographed by Matt

The portraits you have been meaning to book.

You may have plenty of photographs of the children and very few with everyone together. Or perhaps the last proper family portrait was years ago, before life changed shape. A portrait commission gives you a reason to bring the right people together and create something with a place in your home.

Everyone together.

We plan around who you would love included, whether that is your children, your parents or the whole family.

Direction that makes a difference.

I guide where you stand, how you sit and the small adjustments that help the photograph feel natural.

Made for your home.

At your portrait reveal, I help you choose the photographs and finished pieces you want to live with.

For the Wall, For the Family, For Your Story.

A portrait session is not just about spending time in front of a camera. It is about creating photographs that deserve a place in your life afterwards.

For some families, that means a framed portrait on the wall. For others, it might be prints for grandparents, a folio box or an album that marks a particular stage of family life.

We create the portraits first. At your private portrait reveal, you see your photographs and choose the prints, wall art or album that feels right for your home. Artwork prices are available before you book, so you can plan with a clear idea of the cost.

Meet Matt

I am Matt. I will guide you from the first conversation to the finished portrait.

I am Matt Curtis, a professional photographer based at Chinns Court Studio in Warminster. I started in studio photography in 1997 and became independent in 2014. That experience still shapes how I work now: lighting, direction, expression and finish all matter.

I am a qualified Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photography and I have served as an elected Director on the BIPP Board since 2023. I am proud of that recognition, but the thing clients usually care about most is simpler. They want to feel looked after.
